Consumer information on food products. Conference in Viterbo

The conference takes place on 30 June 2018 'Consumer information on food products. Rules, controls and sanctions'. The event is organized byOrder of Agronomists and Foresters of the Province of Viterbo and from College of agricultural experts and graduate agricultural experts.

At 9,30 they open the day the interventions of Alberto Cardarelli and Donato Ferrucci, respectively president and head of the training activities of the Order of Agronomists and Foresters of Viterbo.

From 10 the conference begins, held by the lawyer Dario Dongo, Ph.D. in European food law and founder of GIFT and FARE.

The program runs along four major lines.

1 - EU Reg. 1169/11, consumer information on food products,

2 - reg. CE 1924/11 and subsequent, nutritional and health claims relating to food,

3 - Legislative Decree 231/17 and 27/12, implementing in Italy and penalties for violations

of the aforementioned standards,

4 - reg. EU 2017/625, official public controls on food safety.

The conclusions follow and discussion with those present.

The conference, organized in collaboration and with the support of Eurocontrolli of Viterbo, takes place at the University of Tuscia, in via San Camillo de Lellis snc, Viterbo, Aula Blu - C. Perone Pacifico.
